Naim Dunbar is firmly established as one of Scotland's finest Championship courses having hosted a long list of major national Amateur and professional events in recent years. Some of these events include the Scottish Ladies Close Amateur Championship, Scottish Stroke Play, Scottish Boys Stroke Play, British Seniors and three Northern Opens.
Nairn has the envious position of having two desirable championship golf courses with the world famous Walker Cup venue, Nairn Golf Club, providing an equal test at the west end of the town. It is fair to say that the only similarity in style between the two courses is the magnificent golfing experience that they provide.
